The assortment of files contains the single issues of various newspapers and leaflets published in Germany by various political parties and action groups of the late Weimar Republic in the run-up to the two parliamentary elections (Reichstag) that were held in July and November 1932. The various newspapers often directly address to the voters of their respective political groups of communist, socialist, anarchist, social democratic, centrist, christian, nationalist or national socialist inspiration. The newspapers are the following:"Moskauer Rundscha","Der Funk","Die neue Fron","Neue Kampf-Fron","proletarischer zeitgeis"," Der Vorwärt","Die schwarze Fron","Deutscher Arbeite","Berliner Morgenpos","Echo von Berli","National-Zeitun","Blätter des Deutschland-Bunde","Deutschland erwache","Der Deutsche Sozialis","Deutscher Aufstie","Die Nachrichte". Some documents were published by associations of professional groups such as Railway workers or farmers "Strecke frei. Werbeschrift für Eisenbahne","Der Fränkische Baue"). Thematically, the publications deal with the economic crisis and the question of unemployment. Furthermore, the regional newspapers published in Berlin, such as the"Berliner Morgenpos" widely cover the strike of the public transportation in November 1932 as reaction to the economic politics of Vice-Chancellor Franz von Papen. Finally, as the year 1932 also marked the 15th anniversary of the October Revolution, the issue of the German-speaking “Moskauer Rundschau” is dedicated to the economic, political, and cultural situation of the Soviet society which is presented as the result of successful revolutionary politics.
