The file contains the tenth Bulletin from a series of Bulletins dealing with events in the Bern trial. It has been published by the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities in Switzerland. This Bulletin is regarding the sixth day of trial on the 4th of Mai 1935. Since autumn 1934 the trial has been prepared in order to hear the case of the 'Protocols of the Wise man of Zion'. At this day the tenth session was opened by judge Walter Meyer. As the Jewish press informs, even though it was the sixth negotiation day the interest of the public was not weakened. At the beginning of this session, Fleischhauer read a letter from Loosli declaring that he did not want to offend Fleischhauer in the previous session. After that, Baumgarten was given the floor, and in quiet form, without being guided by a party interest, he gave his thoughts. Every listener had to be immediately aware of the difference between Baumgarten's and Fleischhauer's method, so the Bulletin informs. Baumgarten also referred to Joly's book and continued to ask the question of the authenticity of the 'Protocols'. He further explained that although the Jewish people are said to have a strong religious sense of national pride, this would also appear in a similar form in other countries, for example in Germany.
