Erich Czech (pseudonym: Erich Czech-Jochberg) was an Austrian journalist. In 1930, after moving to Germany, he published an acclaimed biography of Adolf Hitler. As a result, he was courted by the Nazis and wrote a number of other, mainly Nazism favorable books. He got to be a member of the NSDAP but after a time the relations with the party broke down and his books got included in the list of harmful and undesirable writings of the Nazis. Later on he published his books under the pseudonyms Ernst Clam and Erich Galdiner. -- Wikipedia
