The file contains the verdict of Jan Michalski (born on 1 October 1904 in Schröttersburg), a Polish man. Until December 1941 Michalski was employed in a shipping company. After leaving the company he allegedly lived off savings. In February 1942 the defendant entered the office of said company in a drunken state and stole several items from it. From there on Michalski went into hiding and even left town for a time. The theft was noticed and the stolen items were found in Jan Michalski's apartment. In April 1942 the defendant returned to his hometown of Płock (from 1941-1945"Schröttersbur") where he was arrested soon after. He was found guilty and sentenced to death in the same year. The sentence was carried out by beheading in Kaliningrad (formerly Königsberg) in August 1942.
