The attached files contain the transcript of the tenth day (22.07.1934) of the"Grahamstown Tria". This case deals with a crude forgery by Harry Victor Inch (leader in the Eastern Province of the South African Grey Shirts Movement), of the Protocols of the Wise Men of Zion and a Jewish world conspiracy. The newspaper"Die Rappor" published a document (in an Afrikaans version on 6 April and in the original English version on 13 April) allegedly stolen by Mr. Inch from the Western Road Synagogue in Port Elizabeth. This fake document includes both a rather vague and a very detailed Jewish"Plan of Attac", which appears to be a record of an address delivered by the rabbi to the members of the local Jewish community. On the last and tenth day of trial the cross-examination of Mr. Moltke was resumed. He talked about his personal views on Jewry, shed light on Mr. Beamish's opinion on the document and recited the course of events during which the defendants allegedly got hold of the forgery. At some point Mr. Inch interrupted the interrogation to state that he would withdraw from the case. After having left the court room without permission the other two defendants closed their case. The session resumed with two witnesses being called in: John McGregor Kirk (Manager of the Cyclone Gate and Fence Company, Port Elizabeth) and Robert Cairns (Detective Head Constable, South African Police). After that, Mr. Moltke, Mr. Levy, Mr. Dingemans and Mr. Beamish were interrogated once again. On the last page of the transcript it says that the case was closed - yet, the file does not not contain a verdict (see: 9932942496404146). Interrogation (1) -- Interrogation (2)
