The file contains three letters to Toedtli and a copy of the Neue Züricher Zeitung. In 1934, Prince (Fürst) Grotschakoff (Gorcakov) assured Toedtli his full support for the Bern trial. He would try to organize more materials and speak with other Russian witnesses. Furthermore, he advised Toedtli to check all the materials that are relevant for the Bern trial. Only authentic documents have a value in such a trial, he argues. In 1935 and 1936 Toedtli received two more letters concerning Nazi propaganda in Switzerland and National Socialist movements like the Front. Furthermore topics concerning the Bern trial are discussed in those letters. The Neue Züricher Zeitung from 1937 was used by the World Service (Welt-Dienst) for propaganda purposes. In this edition of the Neue Züricher Zeitung the headline 'Deutsche Propagandastellen unterstützen die Aktion gegen die schweizerischen Freimaurer' (German propagandists support the action against the Swiss Freemasons) can be seen. The World Service uses this edition to draw attention to the fact that all 'upstanding, national and well-intentioned' people should unanimously and with full enthusiasm participate to affect this referendum to the desired result.
