The file contains six circulars (“Rundschreiben”) by the United Restitution Organization (Frankfurt) from January and March 1972. The circulars include the following issues: no. 1746, no. 1745, no. 1744, no. 1743, no. 1741, and no. 1739. They mainly deal with recent court judgements made by the German Federal Court (Bundesgerichtshof) on questions of restitution after Nazi persecution, especially regarding juridical regulations and procedures for health damages and the direct or indirect relation between health problems and persecution. Furthermore, two issues focus on the subsequent registration for claims.
