1 electronic resource (38 pages)
The file contains several documents regarding new regulations in Germany. The newspaper articels and reports are published in the years of 1933 and 1934. Some reports inform about the seperation of aryans and non-aryans, the boycott and about laws against non-aryan buisinesses and establishments. The Nazi boycott of Jewish businesses and Jewish-owned department stores and retail establishments, and the offices of professionals such as doctors and lawyers was at the 1st of April. A week after the start of the boycott, on April 7, 1933, the Law for the 'Restoration of the Professional Civil Service' was passed, which restricted employment in the civil service to"Aryan". This meant that Jews could not serve as teachers, professors, judges, or in other government positions. Most Jewish government workers, including teachers in public schools and universities, were fired, while doctors followed closely behind. A regulation of the leader of the german health insurance is attached, which explains, that no more Jewish Doctors can be paid by the Heath insurance. Furthermore articles and restrictions about 'Germany's sterilization law' and what it might accomplish can be seen.
