The file contains the verdicts of eight men and women from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The defendants Wenzel Ruta (born on 11 October 1905 in Bílá-Klína) and Josef Tajmr (born on 18 October 1906 in Neudorf) were accused of having listened to foreign radio broadcasts on several occasions. Furthermore, Ruta built devices to listen to such broadcasts and together they sold them to other people. They were found guilty of sabotage and sentenced to death in 1944. The defendants Jaroslaus Machatý (born on 10 April 1909 in Holitz) and Josef Bárta (born on 13 December 1915 in Mukarschow) repaired radio devices to listen to foreign broadcasts. Machatý was sentenced to five years of penitentiary, Bárta to four years respectively. The defendants Stanislaus Halama (the younger) (born on 18 January 1913 in Huntirach) and Franz Chlum (born on 19 September 1898 in Rostok) were sentenced to three years and two years of penitentiary for attempting to repair a short-wave radio. Marie Machatý (born on 1 December 1909 in Modřice) was sentenced to one year and three months of penitentiary for listening to foreign radio broadcasts. The defendant Stanislaus Halama (born on 18 September 1890 in Huntirsch) was acquitted of the charge.
