The file contains documents regarding the Dreyfuss-Brodsky and Cohn trial in 1933. Jules Dreyfuss-Brodsky and Dr. Marcus Cohn indicted Alfred Zander, Theodor Fritsch and Gottfried Beek, which is the pseudonym of Ludwig Müller von Hausen, for writing, publishing and spreading informations about the 'Protocols of the Wise man of Zion'. In the newspaper 'Der Eiserne Besen' of 9.7.1933, publisher is the 'National Front' in Basel, the article appeared: And it is real! It states that the 'Protocols' are genuine, contrary to the Jews' struggles to expose them as frauds. As an reaction to those articles Jules Dreyfuss-Brodsky and Dr. Marcus Cohn pressed charges. Both were prominent members of the Basel community Dreyfus-Brodsky, representative of Swiss Jewry in the Jewish Agency (1859–1942) and the lawyer Marcus Mordecai Cohn (1890–1953), an active Zionist and rabbinical scholar. Additionally they also accused Eduard Ruegsegger of defamation. Several files including correspondences between their advocates are attached.
