The file contains a programme of a lecture hold on Tuesday, June 3rd, 1941. The speakers where Mr. Hedges, Mr. Holt, Mr. Russel and Mr. Anderson. Three topics have been discussed in the lecture, a message of Spain's revolutionaries in prison, german-american arms race and imperalism, regarding German capitalist penetration of Western Europe. Mr. Holt is reporting about Spain's revolutionaries in prison based on narrations of people spent time in spanish prisons and also worked for a long time illegaly in Germany. The Republicans, who were loyal to the democratic, explained why and how they failed to win the Revolution and what they expect from other nations and other republicans. Mr. Russels explains which kind of prospects the German-Anglo-Saxon arms race has and what his estimations are. In comparison to America Germany can not produce as much and as quick, eventhough the Nazis used forced labour,"free worker" of the occupied countries and more women, furthermore Italy sent some highly qualified workers and material. But all of Hitlers efforts were just enough to hold the producing power, not to increase it. The only thing wich increased, so Anderson argues, was the German imperalism in the Western countries. For example in France, Belgium and the Neatherlands the german capital was marching forward as a true companion of Hitler and the state security. The industries in those countries had to be stimulated and new tanks had to be build for Hitlers war. A perfect opportunity for the German capital to determine in those industries and take them under control
