Dispatch received from Odessa detailing military briefings mostly concerning Japan and the potential invasion of Mongolia, including photographed material. Further preparations for war are described in which Far East military camps are prepared and units are transferred. Activities of the USSR navy in the Black Sea are noted, and the production of Odessa factories is detailed. Additionally, a general dispatch reports purges in agricultural communities suspected of anti-Soviet activities, and mass arrests of communists and well as the change in anti-Polish propaganda in printed material. The bulletin speculates that the authorities wish to normalise relations with Poland.
