This file contains informations about the changed character of the Red Army. After the victory of the Nazis in Germany the Soviet Union mobelised, engineered and developed their own army and the war production as fast as they could. A budget of around 40 million, probably more as the author argues, have been invested yearly in the army. The transportation in public might have been backward but the armament might have been the most modern one in Europe. Furthermore advantages and disadvantages of Communism and its achievements in the last years have been discussed in the file. As the political system was characterized by an autocratic one-party rule, the economic system by planned economy or clear planned economic elements.
