דוח סיכום תקופה שכתב "ר יוסף לוונהרץ (Dr. Josef Loewenherz) משנת 1946 הדוח הוא מעין שחזור תמציתי של האירועים וההתפתחויות שעברו על יהדות אוסטריה מ-1938 ועד תום המלחמה; הדוח מחולק לשלושה שלבים; הדוח הוא סיכום כללי ואישי כאחד שבו לוונהרץ מתנצח עם מבקריו; זוהי סקירה כללית על פעילויות הקהילה היהודית Wien, ימי האנשלוס (Anschluss - סיפוח אוסטריה לגרמניה הנאצית); התנכלויות אלימות, החרמת הרכוש, מעצרים המוניים כולל המנהיגים, גירושים, חקיקה אנטי יהודית, אך גם הישגיות למרות הגזירות; בסיום הכתבה דברי הגות ומחשבה על גורל המנהיג החשוף לביקורת הציבור כפוי התודה; בתיק גם רישום שאלות ותשובות בנוגע ליחסים שהיו בין הקהילה היהודית Wien ובין ה-Zentralstelle (הלשכה המרכזית) האחראית לביצוע הגירושים; תאריכי הטרנספורטים ועוד.
Report-summary of the period written by Dr. Josef Loewenherz, 1946 The report is a type of summary-reconstuction of the events and developments experienced by Austrian Jewry from 1938 until the end of the war. It is divided into three stages and is both a general and a personal summary in which Loewenherz confronts his critics. This is a general survey of the activities of the Vienna Jewish community; the days of the Anschluss (annexation of Austria to Nazi Germany); violent harassment, confiscation of property, mass arrests including of the leaders, deportations and anti-Jewish legislation, but with accomplishments despite the decrees. The article ends with meditation and contemplation regarding the fate of the leader exposed to the criticism of the ungrateful public.
