The file contains a report regarding the National-Socialist Party's rise to power from 1930 till 1933. The triumph which the Party was able to achive during the election compain in Autumn 1930, made Germany and the whole world realise the potential political force and energy which National-Socialism had been able to mobilise. The imminent danger was suddenly realist and frantic attempts were made to side-track the Nazi claim power. From 1930 to 1932, the technique of guerilla warfare against political opponents was developed utilising all modern devices of propaganda, and waging pitched battles, in their attacks and assaults on their political opponents. The report is devided into 4 chapters, based on the years of 1930, 1931, 1932 and 1933. In detail it is discribed how the party gained power, changed their inner circle and coordinated political activities. January 1933 was ushered in with the warning signal indicating that the unemployment figure had risen to about 6 Million. In addition, 2 Million at least were merely partime workers. The economic catastrophe was reaching the climax. Under the pressure of several events, Hindenburg nominated Hitler as the new Chancellor. On March 7th, the intense Nazification throughout the Reich began the vicious phase of 'Gleichschaltung'.
