The file contains several letters, postcards and pictures adressed to or written from Hans Jonak von Freyenwald (alias Karl Bergmeister), who was an Austrian ministerial council and antisemitic publicist, Prince N.D. Gevakhow and August Schirmer. The correspondence is about anti-Semitic literatur, books and documents, which they were offering and recommend to each other. Gevakhow who was living in Italy, Freyenwald, Schirmer and Elena Karzof where eather working or in contact with the Welt-Dienst and Nilus. Gevakhow was sending copies of books from Italy to Freyenwald who was living in Vienna. In some letters the topic is the 'Protocols of the Wise man of Zion' by Nilus, which Freyenwald sent to Rome for distribution whereas Gevakhow sent copies of his book"Erinnerunge" (memories), which were published in 1923 and 1928. As Gevakhow thought, his book might have been of enormous value for Germany and its politics. Also several letters of the son of Nilus, as well as his curriculum vitae can be seen. He is asking for help in order to continue the work of his father. Freyenwald sent him thereupon some money, the remittance order is contained in the file. Furthermore letters regarding the correction work of Freyenwald for the Hammer-Verlag and some letters regarding the Bern Trial, as well as books and protocols based on it are attached.
