This file contains a collection of telegrams, handwritten notes, reports, scripts and newspaper cuttings by Paul Anderson. The time frame of the collection is between 1935 and 1947. The telegram is regarding the liberation of Europe from German tyrannay. It was sent by the Prime Minster to President Roosevelt, with the request to"fre" Europe instead of"invadin" it. Furthermore a report regarding the left-wing party in Germany and Austria in the year of 1935 can be seen. Newspaper articles, written by Paul Anderson, concerning, among others, a relief project for Germany in January 15th, 1947 are attached. He discribes the project"save Europe no", where an English relief organization opens the parcel service for the privat use in Germany. From that day on everyone in Germany was able to recieve their own aid package from family and friends. That meant for the relief organizations less work but on the other hand also more specific help were it was needed the most. The scripts with the title"What makes a black marke", which have been added to this file, show a plot dividet into 13 sequences. In these sequences several problems in Germany after the second world war have been mentioned, like no shelters, no clothes, no food, no production, no employment and how a window with three children bacame a seller at the black market and how it helped her to survive.
