This file contains documents issued by different authorities (Mantua “questura” and “prefettura”, municipal ones, “Demorazza”, and Head of the province in the period of the Salò Republic) in order to make “racial controls” and to verify one’s “aryanity”, especially in cases of mixed marriages, baptisms, foreign spouse or Jewish grandparents, like for example: Camillo and Adele Sullam, brother and sister, whose mother was “arian” and whose father was Jewish; Renato and Alberto, sons of Cornelio Levi, wanted to change their family names; Wanda Jarè, Zaira Masotti and Michielotto Ena were all sons of different mixed marriages.
