Notársky úrad v Jelšave
According to the first Vienna Arbitration in November 1938, Jelšava (in Hungarian Jolsva) was annexed to the Hungarian Kingdom. The Notary Office of Jelšava was responsible for the management of the agenda of the city of Jelšava and the municipality of Jelšavská Teplica. According to the Hungarian census of 1941, there were 184 Israelites who lived in Jelšava. They made up 7 % of the population. The Jelšava Jewry had constituted the third largest Jewish community (after Rožňava and Plešivec) of the Rožňava district.
