The agenda of the Notary Office of Jelšava holds records of the local administration in the period between 1939 and 1944, including materials on the Anti-Jewish measures, the persecution of Jews, and the Aryanization of Jewish property in 1944. The archival collection contains the minutes of the city council of Jelšava from the years 1939 – 1944, in which various documents regarding the Anti-Jewish measures have been preserved. For example, one might find here the measure in which Jews were forbidden to sell their goods on the local markets or various files concerning citizenship issues. Most of the archival materials of the collection concerning the deportation of the local Jewry and the Aryanization of their property can be found in box n. 2. These archival sources are related mainly to the following issues: the dissolution of left-wing political parties, a list of Jewish residents, a list of Jewish traders and shop owners, measures regarding the shops that were taken from the Jewry, the distribution of the clothes that belonged to deported Jewish population among the poor people, as well as the confiscation and the management of Jewish property of Jelšava.
