"Delegatura Rządu Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej na Kraj was a conspiratorial agency in the country of the Rząd Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej na uchodźstwie (Polish Government-in-Exile) from 1940 till 1945. It was part of the Polskie Państwo Podziemne (Polish Underground State). It organized civil administration and was preparing the conditions for the polish government for assuming power in liberated Poland. It also created local administration, secret schools, recorded losses and crimes against the Polish nation, developed plans for the future of Western and Northern territories and organized “Żegota” which was carrying the support for Jews. The delegates were: C. Ratajski, J. Piekałkiewicz, J.S. Jankowski and S. Korboński. Delegacy was disbanded after the creation of Tymczasowy Rząd Jedności Narodowej."@eng .
