Für das Fürstentum Lippe 1879 das dem Oberlandesgericht Celle zugeordnete Landgericht Detmold eingerichtet (zuständig für die Amtsgerichte Alverdissen, Bad Salzuflen, Blomberg, Detmold, Hohenhausen, Horn, Lage, Lemgo und Oerlinghausen); seit 1947 dem Oberlandesgericht Hamm zugeordnet.
