When she was thirteen, Rosalie died, and Wilhelm remarried a woman named Mata. He was unfaithful to both of his wives and had a difficult relationship with his daughter. When Margot was 18, she met and married Hans Freudenberg (b. August 14, 1906 in Berlin, Germany). In 1938, the couple took a train to Genoa, where they lived for a year until sailing on the Mediterranean cruiser Victoria, sailing for Shanghai. They traveled through the Suez canal, stopped in Eritrea, Bombay, Colombo, and Hong Kong, before arriving in Shanghai. Hans, who was unfaithful to Margot, brought his mistress, Mrs. Kula, to Shanghai with them. On June 17, 1947, they left for the United States, eventually moving to Cleveland. In 1948, Hans died of a heart attack. Margot married Hans Lichtenstein on January 25, 1952 and were married until Hank's death in 1977. Margot passed away on July 27, 2005."@en ;
