Nazi flag captured by Barry Ziff, an American G.I. liberator, April 1945, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The flag was captured from the flagpole in front of the German army headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany on April 3, 1945 by Sergeant Barry Ziff of the 550th Antiaircraft Battalion with the 89th Infantry Division.

Red background with black and white design. Large black swastika (centered on left side) encircled with black and white stipes extending from center of circle horizontally and vertically. Black emblem located at lower left. Red stitching along edges. White left edge folded over and stitched to secure rope hanger which is looped at both ends. With rope, on left side flag is 33-1/" (84.5 cm) long.
