ZA-Odre-NVSF-Baltyk [Oder, Neisse and Baltic Medal] owned by Mordche Lieb (Leon Falik) and Giza Sternchuss (later Giza Falik.). After Nazi Germany invaded Poland on September 1, 1939, Mordche fled to the Soviet Union. Giza Sternchuss also fled Poland for the Soviet Union where she became a partisan. Giza's sister Malka (later Mildred Stern) had immigrated to the United States before the war and became a member of the US Women's Army Corps.
