Kurt Kastan (1897-1942) was born and lived in Breslau, Germany (now Wrocław, Poland) with his wife Rosa (Rosel) and their two daughters. He was arrested during the Holocaust, imprisoned at the Sachsenhausen and Ravensbrück concentration camps, and is believed to have died in Ravensbrück in April 1942.
