"Rectangular sketchbook full of pencil and color pencil sketches on tan pages bound within well-worn, red, cloth covered, cardboard covers. The images depict a series of related images and text, as though relating a story, about a dog and several human and anthropomorphized animal characters. The Dutch text is recorded in black ink, and each of the 42 pages in the sequence is numbered. The images appear on only one side of each page. Six loose pages have been tucked into the front of the notebook. These appear to come from the same original source as the story pages, they have the same binding holes from a previous binding as the rest of the pages, but are not part of the story."@en ;
