Triangular metal birth pendant belonging to the donor's mother Ruth Polilnger (nee Wermuth, 1929-1970), that sailed with her from Frankfurt, Germany to New York in 1940. It is engraved with her date of birth, place of birth (Frankfurt A.M)., and"Mazel To". These birth pendants were traditionally given to newborn girls in Frankfurt, Germany between 1928 and 1929.
