Mr. Kishel's original handwritten Yiddish account of his father's role in the Kałuszyn Judenrat was prepared in 1946 or 1947; a typewritten Yiddish version was subsequently prepared (date unknown to United States Holocaust Memorial Museum), and in 1992 the Museum had an English translation prepared. All three versions are included in this donation, and the first two are originals. Susan Bachrach of the Museum's I.D.Project sent all of the above-described documents to Museum's Archives in Oct. 1992 and Mr. Kishel signed a donor agreement on 08 Nov. 1992.
