At age 5, Lore’s parents hid her on a farm with a family including their daughter, Cornelia Schouten. Lore was reunited with her parents after the war.\n\nErnst Baer, born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, was the owner of a sausage factory and store in Amsterdam, Netherlands, which was taken over in 1941 (like all Jewish shops and businesses) and sold to a Dutch collaborator."@en ;
