The book is part of a collection documenting the experiences of Inge Glass (nee Rosenthal), her parents Bernhard and Hedwig Rosenthal (nee Bauer) and her brother Walter Rosenthal in Germany, Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), and South Africa before, during, and after the Holocaust. The collection also includes documents, a cookbook, and Hebrew and German prayer books: a machzor, siddur, and two haggadot."@en ;
