Handmade, paper bag with a yarn drawstring, owned by Gerd and Alice Fischl Gerstmann. The bag is part of a collection documenting the experiences of Alice Fischl Gerstmann, Gerd Gerstmann, and their families in Czechoslovakia, Germany, and Palestine before, during, and after the Holocaust. Alice Fischl, who fled from Czechoslovakia, and Gerd Gerstmann, who fled from Germany, both immigrated to Palestine where they met and married.

Handmade bag constructed from pink, crepe-textured paper with a rectangular base panel. The bag has a blue, yarn, drawstring closure with a yellow bow on the front. A small twig is stuck in the drawstring.
