Small piece of fabric embroidered with the name"Edn" owned by Gerd and Alice Fischl Gerstmann. The embroidery is part of a collection documenting the experiences of Alice Fischl Gerstmann, Gerd Gerstmann, and their families in Czechoslovakia, Germany, and Palestine before, during, and after the Holocaust. Alice Fischl, who fled from Czechoslovakia, and Gerd Gerstmann, who fled from Germany, both immigrated to Palestine where they met and married.
