Polish Workers' Party (KPP) founded on January 5, 1942 in Warsaw by Polish communists from the USSR from the so-called Initiative Group. The PPR military organization was the People's Guard (from January 1944 as the People's Army), its underground newspapers were"Trybuna Wolnośc" and"Trybuna Chłopsk".
