Ita was a member of the group\"Gordoni\" who supplied her with the false identity of\"Genovefa Zawatka\" She had this tooth with her throughout the war, and almost used it once after she was caught by the Gestapo in Czestochowa. She was able to withstand their torture and convince them that she was not Jewish, and so she was sent to slave labor in Germany."@en ;
