The photograph album was assembled by Helen Tichauer, a survivor of Auschwitz, who was deported there from Bratislava in 1942, and lived in Feldafing after the war. It depicts Helen, her husband Erwin Tischauer, and numerous friends and activities associated with the camp. Correspondence includes letters received from historian Konrad Kwiet and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum employees Bonnie Gurewitsch and Joan Ringelheim."@en ;
