In the fall of 1944, he was captured in southern Belgium and taken to military prison, and from there, to Mauthausen. He was transported with three other soldiers--Max Lampel, Sam Frayman, and Lucien Gottleib. Leiberg was the only survivor of the four. He was liberated from Ebensee in 1945."@en ;
