rico:history "Ludwig Singer, originally of Uzhhorod (Ukraine), was trained as an engineer but his passion was being an opera singer. After a performance in Nadwórna, Poland (Nadvirna, Ukraine) he met Atalia Rosenheck. They married around 1930, and their daughter Naomi Singer was born in 1932.
