Typescript memoir, 6 pages, by Leo Mantelmacher (1919-2006), titled"How One Brother Saved His Other Brother's Life Without Knowing It" Mantelmacher, originally of Kozienice, Poland, described the experiences of his family in German-occupied Poland during World War II, and in particular, the evacuation of the Jewish population from his hometown of Kozienice in 1942, his own work as a forced laborer, his experiences working as a tailor on the side for Polish overseers, his experiences at various concentration camps (Auschwitz, Dachau, Allach), and those of his siblings, including his brother, Max, and sisters, Ethel, Gitl, and Sarah, who survived various camps.
