Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. Records originate from a series of competitions organized by the Historical Commission of the Warsaw District Board of the War Disabled Ex-Servicemen Union of the People’s Republic of Poland (now, the Republic of Poland), to submit memoirs of disabled ex-servicemen from World War II. These competitions took place in 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980/81, 1983/84, 1988 and 1992. Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Warszawie, Poland, Sygn. 1702. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Nov. 2016.
