rico:history "Walter C. Furst (1921-2007) was born on August 17, 1921 in Hildesheim, Germany to Berthalo (Bert, b. 1893 in Frankenberg, Germany) and Louise (b. 1894 in Koblenz, Germany) Furst. Berthalo and Louise were married on May 6, 1920 and had two sons: Walter and Hans (Harry, b. March 21, 1924). The family lived in Germany until they immigrated to the United States through Hamburg, Germany in 1937 and settled in New York City.
