Correspondence, consisting of four letters and a postcard, the majority sent by sisters Fritzi and Elisabeth Zinger, originally of Vienna, following their immigration from Austria to the United States as two of th"50 childre" sponsored by Gilbert and Eleanor Kraus, of Philadelphia. The correspondence, dating from June and July 1939, is chiefly from the two sisters, sent to their parents, who were still in Vienna, and were sent from the children's home Brith Sholomville, in Pennsylvania.
