They have stereotypical Jewish features including, thick eyebrows, hooded eyes, large noses, and full beards. On the far left, Pontius Pilate sits in right profile looking out from a raised throne beneath a canopy. In the left foreground, a scribe and lawyer are seated at a table. Opposite them, Jesus Christ, almost naked, is seated in left profile with his hands bound, a crown of thorns on his head, and a cross and palm frond at his feet. The title and publication information are printed in a panel below the image. It has a hanging loop and black painted, wooden dowels are attached to the top and bottom. The collection was amassed by Peter Ehrenthal, a Romanian Holocaust survivor, to document the pervasive history of anti-Jewish hatred in Western art, politics and popular culture.
