ehri:biographicalHistory "Mier Rubin (b. 1868) and his family lived in Zambrów, Poland. He and his wife had eight children: Louis, David, Chaim, Hanu, Rivka, Chaile, Maryann, and Norma. He immigrated to the United States in 1923, and his sons Louis and David left in 1926 for Cuba, where they stayed for two years. Louis then immigrated to the United States, and David returned to Poland to move with his wife and children to Palestine. Mier’s wife and daughters Maryann and Norma came shortly afterwards. They all settled in Illinois. Mier’s family who did not emigrate from Poland did not survive the Holocaust."@en ;
