Source of acquisition is the Yad Vashem, Record Group M.1 E. The Central Historical Commission (CHC) of the Central Committee of Liberated Jews in the U.S. Zone, Munich, gathered these testimonies during the three years of its existence. The original microfilming of the collection was done in 1955.The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Archives Project transferred microfilms to the Museum Archives in Dec. 2007.
