Consists of five photographs taken by Robert Carty in April 1945 depicting dozens of victims of Nazi atrocities laid out on the ground near row of buildings. Some of the photographs are labeled"Nordhause" on the verso. Carty took the photographs while a member of the 1st Platoon, Company A, 750th Tank Batallion, 104th Infantry "Timberwol") Division, United States Army.
Robert Carty was a member of the 1st Platoon, Company A, 750th Tank Battalion, attached to the 104th Infantry Division Timberwolf Division during World War II.
