Election ballot/flier distributed throughout Austria following the Anschluss of Austria by Nazi Germany on March 12, 1938. Austria was incorporated into the Third Reich and the union was viewed favorably by the majority of the population. This ballot, dated March 13, 1938, is marked yes to elect Hitler and unify the 2 countries. A plebiscite held after the fact in April was manipulated to how that 99% of the population approved; Jews, Roma and others were not allowed to vote.

Rectangular, yellowed, white colored paper with a greenish colored center, deigned to resemble a ballot. On the front is German text and beneath is: Ja (Yes) next to a large circle with a penciled X ; below Nein (No) with a smaller circle, left blank.
