Consists of a diary: written by"Debora" in the Warsaw ghetto, wrapped in a Polish newspaper, dated 11 July 1945; Deborah (last name unknown) was killed by a bomb in Warsaw during the Polish uprising in 1944. Lusia Hornstein (donor's mother and a friend of Deborah's) retrieved the diary in the Spring of 1945 from a burned out home where she was living under false papers
