He describes the Russian and German occupations of Bialystock; life in the Bialystock ghetto; the August 1943 liquidation of the ghetto and Jewish resistance; life in the Majdanek, Bliszin, and Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps; and his post-war life in Poland, Israel, and the United States.
