rico:history "Henry Galler was a Russian concentration camp prisoner. At the end of 1941, he volunteered to be a soldier in the Polish Army to fight the Germans. He started as a gunner and was promoted to the Commander of Battery with the rank of Lieutenant and received the Medal of Bravery\n\nEva Vogel Galler was born in Oleszyce, Poland. She survived as a Christian under an assumed name in Germany. On her way to Belzec to be exterminated, she jumped from a cattle car.
